The coast is characterized by seven main coastal area, renowned for their crystal-clear waters named: Riviera dei Cedri (Cosenza Tyrrhenian), Costa dei Gelsomini (Reggio Calabria Ionian), Costa Viola (Reggio Calabria Tyrrhenian), Costa degli Aranci (Catanzaro), Costa dei Saraceni (Crotone), Costa degli Achei (Cosenza Ionian), Costa degli Dei (Vibo Valentia).
